Changing Lives by Providing Work to Women in Need

About this Project:

Thank you for this opportunity to share my dream. My name is Amanda Daum, I am from Dallas, Texas and in June of this year I launched Sticks, a kids clothing brand dedicated to employing indigenous Mayan women in the highlands of Guatemala. At Sticks, we use ancient methods of production to create unique products that add meaning to our lives. We travel to remote villages to invest in artisan talent because we believe that people matter. Sticks is a socially conscious brand on a mission to bring tradition back into our products.

My Dream is to continue to provide jobs to women in need in the villages of Guatemala.
